Two telesimulations “Fatoumata” and “Sofia” were created as part of the Spirit4Care project.
Telesimulation is part of simulation-based learning methods. It is a video scenario in which the user is encouraged to use reflective practice to analyze the care approach being observed. They are therefore not “recipes” or “perfect examples,” but rather illustrations close to real-life situations that need to be reflected upon and discussed with learners in order to develop possible improvements together.
These two telesimulations take place in a primary healthcare center. However, spiritual care competencies are transversal. They can be used with professionals or students from many areas of healthcare.
They are designed to be completed either individually, for self-learning in e-learning mode, or in groups, in face-to-face sessions guided by a trainer.
A user guide is also available to help trainers who wish to use them during a group training session in person.
